Yoplait Plain Greek Yogurt
Now that Greek yogurt has gotten popular, the major yogurt brands are paying attention, and have started selling their own, like Yoplait Greek Yogurt. Like when Indie music bands hit the big times and some fans get all derisive and start hating on the band just because they are now popular; that's how I feel some people's reaction to Yoplait Greek Yogurt has been.

I got sent a few samples of Yoplait Greek Yogurt to sample, and I couldn't wait. The first variety I decided to try was the Plain, 0% fat. I learned my lesson after trying plain Greek yogurt for the first time (Fage Fat Free Greek Yogurt), that I would need to add a little sweetener to this if I was to eat it plain. I added a packet of Susta All Natural Sweetener, and really enjoyed Yoplait Plain Greek Yogurt. It's not the thickest Greek yogurt I've had, but this was definitely a decent choice. Since it was plain, the flavors of any toppings will shine through. I added a few sprinkles of Kashi Mountain Medley Granola for crunch and Funky Monkey Carnival Mix Freeze Dried Fruit Snacks, which really sings in yogurt, and I was a happy girl.
Each 6 ounce serving of Yoplait Plain Greek Yogurt provides 100 calories, no fat or fiber, 9 grams of sugars and 14 grams of sugars. The ingredients are cultured pasteurized milk, Grade A non fat milk, milk protein concentrate, Kosher gelatin, vitamin A Acetate and vitamin D3.
I have to agree with Yoplait's BIG statement on the front of the containers that they have 2x as much protein as other yogurts - REGULAR yogurt. But this brand actually has about half the amount of protein as other GREEk yogurts (fat free), like Fage and Voskos.
Yoplait Plain Greek Yogurt cost a lot less than other Greek yogurt brands (about $1.20 oer 6 ounce container), so I would probably buy this version if I were strapped for cash. Otherwise, I have to go with the brands with more protein, like Voskos, which doesn't have a whole lot much more calories or sugar.

Can't get enough Greek yogurt! I am partial to Fage but I'm open to newbies. :)

I like Fage and Chobani Greek yogurts but I will give Yoplait's version a try since I like their regular fat free yogurt.
I wouldn't say double. Chobani has 18 grams of protein in their plain 6 oz container. 14 is less, but not half. Voskos has 24, double this, but that is in 1 8oz cup, not a 6 oz cup
That should say 24 is almost double this. But in 6oz of Voskos there are also 18 grams of protien
