EnviroKidz Organic Peanut Butter Panda Puffs Cereal

EnviroKidz Organic Peanut Butter Panda Puffs CerealEnviroKidz Organic Peanut Butter Panda Puffs may be geared towrads children, but with no preservatives or additives, low sodium, and no gluten, these sounded pretty good to me too - decidedly an adult in age. I love peanut butter, so I was excited to try these. I also liked that they're just peanut butter, without chocolate - sometimes I like them individually!

I opened the box, poured myself a bowl, and started munching. Yum! The peanut butter flavor is subtle, sweet (but not too sweet), and rich - just delicious. This is good both with and without milk - as a snack.

Each 3/4 cup serving of EnviroKidz Organic Peanut Butter Panda Puffs Cereal provides 130 calories, 4% of the daily value for total fat, 2 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of protein. There is nothing in terms of vitamins and minerals. The ingredients are Organic Corn Meal, Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Organic Peanut Butter, Organic Soy Oil, Sea Salt, Tocopherols (Natural Vitamin E).

A box of Panda Puffs retails for about $3.29, and I think I might have to say this is my favorite Nature's Path cereal - so far ... but they make so many great tasting cereals, that I'm sure I'll be saying something differently next month! While some may be a bit turned off by the lack of (added) vitamins & minerals, I take a multi-vitamin daily, and actually eat enough foods that I'm not so much concerned about getting much of my daily intake from a bowl of cereal (not to mention that the milk will probably take care of some calcium & vitamin D anyway).

I like this post. Nutritious breakfast cereal is hard to find, but this looks like one I would actually feed my kids. Thanks alot for sharing.

How does this one compare to Mother's Peanut Butter Bumpers cereal?

@ Andie Ooh good question. Our review of Mother's Peanut Bumpers cereal --> here. Similar nutrition facts (Mother's has 3 grams more sugars) & they both taste great. EnviroKidz is made with organic ingredients (although Mother's is also made with all natural ingredients).

I thought these were way too bland, and price way too high. If they could actually get them to taste on like reeses puffs or pb captain crunch, I would be fine paying the premium for better ingredients. As they are, I would not recommend them.

Thanks! Good to know! :)

The serving for Mother's is a cup though. Mother's PB Bumper's are amazingly good! I haven't tried these yet.
