Reader Favorites: Let's Talk Chocolate
What's Your Favorite Chocolatey Treat? Do you just eat a little bit of something you LOVE but might have quite a few calories and fat, or do you have a good sugar-free product that you've tried and adored?
The reviews we've done all past week have been foods that are chocolate or caramel flavored. Some we've loved, like Vitalicious Double Chocolate Dream VitaTops and NuGo Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar. Some we've not loved so much, like Fiber One Chocolate Fudge Toaster Pastry and Chocolite Chocolate Chip Brownie Bites.
Some have been low carb (but really good), like Penny's No Sugar Added Chocolate Truffle Cookie. And some have just been okay, like ZonePerfect Indulgence Nutrition Squares (German Chocolate Cheesecake).
We would love to hear from you - what chocolatey products, whether sugar free or not, tickle your fancy?!

I love the Vitalicious too, and my other fallback is Hershey's dark chocolate miniatures. Only 1 point and so good!
I like sugar free Werthers (candy). It doesn't have a weird taste, and it satisfies my sweet tooth and since I suck on it, I don't have to have too many.
I'm always in search of great low-cal chocolate frozen desserts. My absolute favorites include Breyer's Dark Chocolate Velvet ice cream, Haagen Dazs' chocolate sorbet and Skinny Cow cones. I also frequently freeze sugar-free Jell-o pudding or mousse cups. I swear they taste like ice cream!
Smart Ones desserts! Yum

I'd rather have a really indulgent treat once in a while than have "meh" sweets every day. My favorite thing is a Reese's peanut butter egg. They're not good for me at all, but eating one once in a while (at 180 calories) isn't much worse than eating a so-so energy or granola bar that's supposed to be healthier (and they're often only marginally more nutritious). Besides, I have to ration the treats since they're only available for a few months every year.
oreos are my poison of choice :)
I love reese's. The mini ones.
Lindt's 99% cocoa bar is awesome, too, with coffee or a little spoon of honey. Ahmaaaazing.
Man, it's hard to not just go on and on about what chocolate things you like. Not gonna lie, I like most things chocolate...
I'm totally a vanilla girl, but every once in a while I want a little taste of chocolate, and tootsie rolls and tootsie roll pops are my go-to treat. I particularly like the long (3" ish) skinny tootsie rolls.
I always go for a small portion of some sort of "real" treat. Part of the reason for this is that I have few options since I live in Japan and they don't do the reduced calorie treats very well or much. Part of it is also that I've trained myself to be satisfied with a little. Still, I love reading the reviews of the items on this blog. It's always interesting whether I can buy them or not.
I love dark chocolate covered raisins! They've been my special finals exam treat since starting college; wonderful for munching on when I'm spending hours and hours studying. I'm young so no need to worry about portion size :P
I love:
Newmans Own Organic chocolates
VitaTops/Muffins/Brownies
Jello Sugar-Free Chocolate Pudding
Cocoa Roasted Almonds
Monster Trail Mix (peanuts, raisins and chocolate)
Hershey Dark Cocoa (add it to anything and everything!!)
