Cinnabon Cinnamon Crisps
Ever since I found myself surprised by Cinnabon Cinnamon Crunch Cereal, I have been keeping an eye out for other Cinnabon products. As I was rounding one of the supermarket aisles of my local grocery store, I ran into an end cap display and guess what I found ... Cinnabon Cinnamon Crisps. The fact that a 6 ounce bag was $3.49 (aka slightly overpriced) could not beat out my intrigue.

First off, the size of each crisp is much smaller than I was expecting - it's only about as large as a quarter. Second of all, and most importantly, the flavor needs to be much stronger. A somewhat delightful, yet subtle cinnamon profile rests within a crunchy bagel chip of sorts and the sweetness is almost nonexistent. They are not horrible, but they just aren't very special either. Then again, by about the 2nd or 3rd serving, the low level of sweetness and modest cinnamon flavor were growing on me and I enjoyed the crunchy snack to some extent.
Each 1 ounce serving of Cinnabon Cinnamon Crisps provides 130 calories, 9% of the daily value for total fat, 5% of the DV for saturated fat, 2 grams of fiber, 4 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein. Follow that up with the fairly short ingredient list of Wheat Flour, Soybean Oil, Sugar, Makara Cinnamon, Yeast, Salt, Oat Fiber, Malt Powder and Caramel.
Cinnabon Cinnamon Crisps might make their way back into my pantry if they were on a major sale. However, until then, I will stick with Back to Nature Honey Graham Sticks, which I think pack a more flavorful punch with an enjoyable sweetness.

I'd have really high expectations for these being they are supposed to be Cinnabon flavored--everyone knows you can't compare to their giant cinnamon rolls! :-)
