Snyder's of Hanover Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwich
We cannot get enough of Snyder's of Hanover products here at Iateapie.net! We have already raved about Veggie Crisps and Sunflower Chips, so when I saw Snyder's of Hanover Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwich on my supermarket shelves, I decided to give it a go. Snyder's doesn't advertise these products as "natural" but the ingredients are simply, unbleached wheat flour, peanuts, water, sugar, malt, monoglycerides, canola oil, salt, yeast and soda - no hydrogenated oils.

I decided to pay $3.99 for the 8 pack of 1 ounce bags instead of purchasing the bigger bag because I knew that the portion control would be needed when it came to the irresistible combo that was before me. I had high hopes for these little snack packs, but was sort of let down.
The pretzels are glossy, unsalted little waffle shaped circles, no bigger than a quarter with a pretty thin layer of peanut butter sandwiched between. At first you can barely taste the peanut butter, and since the pretzel is unsalted, it means there is not much flavor action going on when you first started eating these, but as the bite is coming to an end, you begin to experience that "stick to the roof of your mouth" peanut butter experience and distinct flavor profile. So it doesn't start out that great, but it ends up ... okay.

A 1 ounce serving of Snyder's of Hanover Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwich (10 little sandwiches) provides 140 calories, 10% of the daily value for total & saturated fat, 6% of the DV for sodium, less than 1 gram of fiber, 2 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein.
This is a much better alternative to those cheap 6 pack peanut butter sandwich crackers that are characteristic of a vending machine snack, but Good Health Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels has less saturated fat per serving, and tastes better, so that would be my preferred option.

I agree with this review.. the peanut butter part is delicious but overall I wasn't amazed. Plus, the serving size seems so tiny!
