Ocean Spray Cranergy Cranberry Lift

Cranenergy Cranberry LiftAfter rediscovering my samples of Cranergy Energy Juice Drinks and sampling the Raspberry Cranberry Lift flavor, I decided I of course had to try the Cranberry Lift variety as well - after all, cranberries are what Ocean Spray is known for. Cranergy is an energy drink with less sugar and fewer calories than "traditional" energy drinks, and comes equipped with B vitamins, for a little pick-me-up.

One thing I love about Cranergy is that each bottle contains 20+% fruit juice (the Cranberry Lift flavor has 23% of it). That's much more than in many traditional cranberry juices!

Another bonus is that, even with that fruit juice (and sweetener to help counter the bitterness of straight cranberry juice), each serving provides only 35 calories, and 9 grams of sugar, plus 100% of the RDA for vitamin C, and 70% for each vitamin B2, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and pantothenic acid. This juice is sweetened with sucralose (Splenda), so it tastes sweet and rich but doesn't have huge amounts of sugar or calories.

I love the taste of this stuff. It tastes like regular cranberry juice, but has the added benefit of some vitamins. I got my juice as a sample, but a check of my local grocery store revealed that a 4-bottle pack retails for $5.19.

I'd definitely buy this again on those days when I'm not feeling like drinking just plain water. Sometimes I need a little flavor, but can do without the sugar & calories.
