V8 Sweet Red Pepper Soup

I am absolutely in LOVE with V8 Soups. I have already gushed about V8 Southwestern Corn Soup, so it was high time that I tried another flavor so I picked up a box of V8 Sweet Red Pepper Soup and had it for lunch the next day.

The V8 Sweet Red Pepper Soup is described as, "A friendly competition between the crisp sweetness of red peppers and the classic sweetness of farm-grown tomatoes. No artificial flavors. No preservatives. Just the delicious, vibrant taste of a full serving of vegetables with the nutritional goodness that goes along with it." I thought it was delicious. it's quite a thick soup and looks like it would be tomato based, but it's not.
While eating this (and narrating the review in my head), I thought: flavorful, slightly sweet, but not in the traditional sense of the word, deep, rich flavor - smooth and fantastic with bread. A box is 2 servings and normally, and whereas I would eat the entire thing, as I was pouring this out, I thought to myself that this was a lot of soup - too much for me to eat in 1 sitting. I think this is because it's all liquid and so it seems more filling than traditional soups that have vegetables and/or meat added. This must be the first time I have not had to eat the entire "2 servings" content of soup at once to be fully satisfied.
Each 1 cup serving of V8 Sweet Red Pepper Soup provides 120 calories, 1.5 grams of total fat, 26% of the daily value for sodium, 3 grams of protein and 16% of the DV for fiber. The ingredients list is stellar: water, Tomoto Puree (water, tomato Paste), red Peppers, Crushed Tomatoes (water, concentrated Crushed Tomatoes), black Bean Flakes, Dehydrated Potatoes, Contains less than 2% of the Following: Cream (Milk), sugar, roasted Red Bell Pepper Puree, salt, modified Food Starch, Butter(cream[milk], salt, ), dehydrated Leeks, carrots, cabbage, onions, corn Syrup, celery, celery Leaves, yeast Extract, lemon Juice Concentrate, roasted Gralic Puree, spice Extract(contain Soy Lecithin), parsley, paprika Extract(for Colour).
The only thing I think that might have improved this soup a little is if it had a little kick at the end - a bit spicier - but that's just me. The sodium content is high, as is the case with most packaged soups, and while I did prefer the V8 SouthWestern Corn Soup, this was still delicious and worthy of the $2.50 price tag.
I'm a little scared to try any more varieties of V8 Soups because I don't think I could handle the letdown if I was to be disappointed.
