Kashi Heart to Heart Honey Toasted Oat Cereal
Kashi GoLean Cereal is one of my favorites - it's chock full of protein and fiber, and it tastes pretty good too. However, it's not really conducive to throwing in a bag to snack on, because the fiber twigs, soy protein grahams, and honey-toasted puffs are a little too small to be easily picked up. Kashi Heart to Heart Honey Toasted Oat Cereal, on the other hand, is the perfect finger food (and it tastes pretty darn good too).
How can I begin to describe this?! It's like Cheerios, sweetened and on steroids - the rings are really big and crunchy, and there are cute, oaty hearts interspersed with the O's. I found the crunch to be very nice, especially since it meant that the cereal didn't get soggy quickly in milk, but I know some people may find it to be overwhelming. This cereal is sweetened with evaporated cane juice and honey for a pleasing but not overwhelming sweetness,
Kashi thought about nutrition when they were making this cereal, and included ingredients to promote health: 1 gram of soluble fiber from oats to help reduce cholesterol, 6 natural antioxidants, including green tea and grape seed extracts along with 100% daily value of 3 B vitamins to helps support healthy arteries, and low sodium to help promote healthy blood pressure.

This item is a regular staple in the house too. I like the cute heart shape. The Warm Cinnamon flavor is good too if you are a cinnamon fan.
I mix this stuff with coca puffs and milk. It's an great combo!
i like this too. it's not that filling though, which is the downside. i want to try the cinnamon flavor =]
Having had the cinnamon version of Heart to Heart, it's slightly generic tasting. It's not that its bad, but the cinnamon flavor isn't one that is particularly tasty, like Cinnamon Chex. It's more of a 'spicy' cinnamon. Still, it's worth trying.
I bought this because I figured it would be a better option then my Honey Nut Cheerios, but after I poured it and put milk to it there was something about it that was really off setting. Then I realized it reminded me of my cats food. The shapes, the texture, everything. And it tasted strange too. Don't get me wrong it isn't horrible. It was just the opposite of what I expected completely. I'll finish the box, but this has got to be one of the weirdest cereals I've come into contact with. Overall it has just strengthen my relationship with Honey Nut Cheerios.
