Glenny's MultiGrain Sea Salt Soy Crisps
I declared my love for Glenny's long ago, and since then the Lightly Salted Soy Crisps have remained on my must-buy list. I usually go straight for that variety, but on my last grocery store excursion, I decided to try the Multigrain Sea Salt Soy Crisps. With the "over 18 grams of whole grains" advertised on the front of the package, I was eager to try them. I picked up a bag for $1.59 at the drug store to have as a study snack later, looking forward to my treat.

These crisps are fan-friggin-tastic. They're lighter than regular soy crisps, almost rice cake-like, while still being hearty and satisfying. The sea salt imparts a salty finish to the chips - without being overly so. One thing I love about buying snacks in smaller bags, is that the temptation to keep on eating is removed - and I don't think I could have resisted. Thankfully, this one serving was satisfying enough to get me through the mid-afternoon munchies, thanks to the 6 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber per serving.
Each 37 gram bag of Glenny's MultiGrain Sea Salt Soy Crisps also provides 120 calories, just 2 grams of fat (no sat or trans fats) and 250 mg of sodium (9% of the daily value).
The ingredients list includes simply Multi Grain (Whole Ground Corn Flour, Rice Flour, Whole Grain Oat Flour, Whole Grain Wheat Flour, Sugar, Salt), Soy,(Low Fat Soy Flour, Rice Flour, Salt) Sunflower Seed Oil, Sea Salt.
I must say, I like Glenny's MultiGrain Sea Salt Soy Crisps even better than the Lightly Salted Soy Crisps, so I'll probably end up stocking up by ordering them from Glenny's website at $30.40 for 24 bags.
