Looking for an alternative to Hershey's Krackel? How about with a little caramel thrown in there for good measure? Look no further than Chocolite Crispy Caramel Bites, which combine the crunchy rice taste of Krackel with a rich, delicious caramel center. I was a little skeptical of the crispy-caramel combination - aren't they sort of opposites? But when I dug in to my Chocolite piece, I was really impressed. Like the rest of the Chocolite family, these are super chewy and take a few bites to eat - a good thing, in my opinion as they last longer that way. The chocolate tastes natural, the caramel is rich and chewy, and the crispy bits add a nice crunch. I like these almost as much as the Chocolite Peanut Chews, and that's only because I love peanuts.
Each Chocolite Crispy Caramel Bites chew provides 30 calories, 6 grams of fiber and no sugars as previously mentioned. There is 1 gram of sugar lachols (erythritol and maltitol syrup). A 2-piece pack runs about $1.59 (or you can buy them online)
