After experiencing the deliciousness of Turtle Mountain Purely Decadent Dairy Free Cherry Nirvana Ice Cream, I absolutely had to try another flavor. When I discovered Purely Decadent Dairy Free Mocha Almond Fudge at Target (on sale), I was immediately dreaming of a delectably creamy sweet treat.

No suspense - my dreams definitely came through on this one woohoo. From the Turtle Mountain website: We are taking coffee to an all-new level with this one. Luxurious fudge sauce and roasted almonds swirled in a rich coffee flavored non-dairy frozen dessert. You may be tempted to have it for breakfast. Hello - they aren't lying. Each pint sized container houses coffee flavored ice cream with copious swirls of chocolate fudge and tons of almond chunks mixed throughout. There is no shortage of the toppings, and i's just one delicious bite after another. You would never guess that there is no milk in this creamy treat.

Each 1/2 cup serving of Purely Decadent Dairy Free Mocha Almond Fudge provides 200 calories from 9 grams of total fat, 0.5 grams of which is saturated fat (14% & 3% of the daily value), 45 mg of sodium (2% of the DV), 3 grams of protein and 32 grams of carbohydrates which includes 6 grams of fiber (24% of the RDA) and 22 grams of sugar. The ingredient list contains nothing appalling. How a company can take something that is mostly water (the first ingredient) and make this delicious delight is beyond my comprehension.

There is more calories in this "ice cream alternative" than there is in "slow churned" reduced fat ice cream, which has about 120 calories per 1/2 cup, but they are not dairy free. I paid a whopping $0.99 at Target for one pint of Purely Decadent Dairy Free Mocha Almond Fudge. I am not sure if this was marked incorrectly or simply an unpopular flavor (the latter is probably impossible), but I took full advantage and stocked up; and I am glad that I did.

Only 99ยข a pint? I'm on my way to Target right now!

It was some crazy sale (perhaps mismarked) because the other flavors were like $3 or $4 each. So, naturally, I bought like 3 pints! haha Ahh...soooo good!

Wow, that is a crazy good price! Lucky you!
