Vitazest Passion Fruit Water
Flavored water seems to be on the rise these days. I love how you can get everything from drink mixes, such as Crystal Light White Tea Blueberry On the Go Packets; lightly flavored waters, such as Hint Pear Water to vitamin enhanced waters such as Dasani Plus Cleanse + Restore Vitamin Enriched Flavored Water Beverage.
I spotted Vitazest Water on the shelf, in flavors like Passion Fruit, Mango Cherry, Orange, Pineapple Mango, Blueberry, and Kiwi Strawberry, priced at 4 for $5, so I decided to pick up a couple of bottles. Vitazest Pineapple Mango Vitamin and Fruit Enriched Water has already been reviewed, so I decided to try something new first, the Passion Fruit flavor. Ahhh ... refreshing - not overpoweringly sweet, just the way I like it. No chemical-ish taste, like some other waters. As for the taste of "passion fruit" - well, I detected a sweet fruity note, but that was about it.
Vitazest Passion Fruit Water has no calories, 15% vitamin A; 25% vitamin D; 15% vitamin E; 5% calcium; and 65% of each vitamin C, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. The ingredients are filtered water, natural flavors, vegetable juice for color, citric acid, kiwi and strawberry juices from concentrate, plus a plethora of added vitamins. Notice that passionfruit is not listed.
This was something I would definitely buy again. Dare I say I preferred this to artificially sweetened flavored waters like Powerade Zero. I decided to look at some other beverages reviewed that have "Passion Fruit" in the name. These include Bossa Nova Acai Juice - Passion Fruit (which does have passion fruit in the ingredients), Bloom Energy Drink + Mango Passionfruit and So Delicious Passionate Mango Coconut Milk Yogurt Alternative.
