Yoplait Light Apple Turnover Yogurt

Yoplait Light Apple Turnover YogurtYoplait Light has some new Light Fat Free yogurt flavors to offer, bringing the total to over 20 flavors, and I was intrigued to give some of them a try. I was torn between Apple Turnover, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Raspberry Cheesecake (tough decision!), but I eventually decided on the Apple Turnover.

Looking at the front of this yogurt, I pondered what my favorite parts of apple desserts were - definitely the flavors of the apple, but also those of the cinnamon and crust. Clearly this yogurt wasn't going to reproduce the crust entirely, but I had hopes for the cinnamon. I opened the container and scooped up a spoonful (and one that included a big chunk of apple, too). The verdict? Fantastic! This yogurt accurately captured the delicious mingling of apple and cinnamon that make this dessert so delicious, and the texture is ridiculously thick, especially for a light yogurt yummy.

Each 6 ounce container of Yoplait Light Apple Turnover Yogurt provides only 100 calories, no fat, 85 mg sodium (4% of the RDA), 250 mg potassium (7% of the RDA), 5 grams of protein, 14 grams of sugar plus 15% of the RDA for vitamin A, 20% for calcium and vitamin C, and 25% of the RDA of phosphorus.

This snack is light, healthy, and tastes delicious - definitely pick up some of these to try for yourself. Too bad my yogurt cost $0.99, but they do go on sale frequently.

In addition to the occasional store sales, you can often find coupons for Yoplait too. They have been coming out with some terrific flavor choices!

I don't actually think this is new as I've heard about it for a long time, but my store just started to sell them as well.

I just bought some today, I am going to try it for dessert tonight. I hope its worth it!!

i love this one and the white chocolate strawberry flavor... but my suggestion is to freeze them...they are so good frozen! Just let them thaw for like 5-10 mins before eating! YUM!
