Brothers All Natural Potato Crisps
Brothers All Natural has a good thing going with its Freeze-dried fruit (try the Brothers All Natural Strawberry Banana Fruit Crisps), so when they recently introduced Potato Crisps, which was named 2008 Best New Disney Product, I snagged some right away. These products can be hard to find, so I went online (brothersallnatural.com) and ordered a variety pack (2 8-packs for $14.99, with free shipping). The flavors are quite interesting - you've got Original with Sea Salt, Black Pepper & Sea Salt, Fresh Onion & Garlic, and Szechuan Pepper & Fresh Chives. Certainly a little more interesting than your run-of-the-mill Baked Lays Potato Chips, right?
I decided to get the Original and Szechuan flavors. What I found was that these had a strange 'melt-in-your-mouth' consistency, that was at first a bit off-putting, but I eventually grew to like. I much preferred the "Original" to the Szechuan, as interesting as the latter was. These crisps don't really taste like "real" potato chips. The only ingredients in the Original flavor are fresh potatoes and sea salt, but these guys are freeze-dried to "bring the potato slice to a crisp". I agree with Marvo, who reviewed these at The Impulsive Buy, "the Brothers-All-Natural Potato Crisps are like the diet cola of potato chips. You won't like the taste at first, but you'll eventually get used to it, because you have to."
Each 0.42 ounce bag provides 45 calories, no fat, 280 mg sodium (12% of the daily value), 1 gram of fiber, and 1 gram of protein. They are also Gluten free (more details can be found on their website). Those might look like impressive stats at first glance, but this serving size is less than half of a regular serving of chips.
Since these bags are so small, I ended up eating 2 bags instead of 1 as a snack, which means each "real serving" actually cost me about $2. I liked these ... okay, but I don't think I'll be buying huge quantities any time soon.

Thanks for your review. I was all set to go order some, especially when you said "gluten-free", until I read your whole post. I think I will stick with my Baked Lays or Pop Chips. ;)
