Weight Watchers Smart Ones Tuna Noodle Gratin
You don't see too many frozen dinners with Tuna as an ingredient, so my interest was peaked when I saw Weight Watchers Smart Ones Tuna Noodle Gratin. It is described as, "tender chunks of albacore tuna & linguini in a creamy sauce topped with toasted breadcrumbs."
Despite the picture on the box, there is a lot of sauce, but it really works with the noodles. While the noodles were plentiful, there could have been more tuna. I liked how the breadcrumbs provided an additional dimension to the dish. Altogether, the tuna noodle gratin was pretty hearty. But lets face it, this is something anyone, no matter the level of your cooking skills, could make at home.
One package of Weight Watchers Smart Ones Tuna Noodle Gratin provides 250 calories and 4.5 grams of fat, 2 grams of which are saturated (7% and 9% of the daily value), 10% of the DV for cholesterol (30 mg) and a whopping 30% of the DV for sodium (780 milligrams of sodium). There is also 15 grams of protein and 37 grams of carbohydrates, including 3 grams of dietary fiber (12% of the DV), and 7 grams of sugar. The dish also provides 15% DV calcium and 10% DV iron (more details available at EatYourBest.com).
This meal cost less than $2.00 at Target, and while it was reasonably priced, I won't be buying this often because of the high sodium content, and the fact that I could make something similar myself ... okay I may not be able to master the sauce since the kitchen and I are only acquaintances (not good friends), but I can live without it. But, again, I did like this and can see myself reaching for it sometimes.

FYI, it piqued (not peaked) your interest.
