Weight Watchers Smart Ones Angel Hair Marinara
I can't wax philosophical about pasta and red sauce, but this Weight Watchers Smart Ones Angel Hair Marinara is pretty tasty. It is described as having, "tender angel hair pasta in a delicious marinara sauce with spinach, yellow and green zucchini." Indeed, the angel hair pasta had a nice texture and worked well with the marinara sauce, which had a nice kick to it. The vegetables included spinach and yellow and green zucchini, which added color and texture to the dish. The brief description of this dish on the front of the box puts "delicious marinara" in bold, and while I wouldn't necessarily go that far, I thought the meal overall was quite good.
Over at Freezer Burns, they thought it decent too, though it "fell short of delicious."
One package of Weight Watchers Smart Ones Angel Hair Marinara provides 230 calories from 4 grams of total fat, including 1 gram of saturated fat (6% and 5% of the daily value), no cholesterol, 640 milligrams of sodium (27% of the DV), 9 grams of protein and 40 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of which are dietary fiber (16% of the DV) and 7 grams of sugars (more details at EatYourBest.com).
I paid $1.75 for this meal while it was on sale at Target, but it normally sells for $1.99. I was surprised by how much I liked this meal considering how simple it was. While I I wouldn't have picked this meal if it hadn't been so inexpensive, it turned out to be a pretty good choice.
