Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle Bars
Skinny Cow Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwich and Skinny Cow Vanilla Skinny Dippers have already received rave reviews, so when I saw the Skinny Cow Truffle Bars - available in chocolate and French vanilla flavors, I picked up a box (of the chocolate flavor) right away. a 6-pack box cost me $5.99, which was a bit pricey but less so with a coupon from the website.
After unwrapped the bar, I found a pleasingly large chocolate bar drizzled with crisscrossing patterns of chocolate ribbons. I took a bite and savored the flavor. It was rich, not icy, and the chocolate was perfect. That said, I didin't experience the same flavors as a rich truffle ice cream but it was good regardless.
Each Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle Bar provides 100 calories from 2 grams of fat (4% of the daily value), 2 grams of saturated fat (8% of the DV), 50 mg of sodium (2% of the DV), 3 grams of protein and 19 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 12 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber. There is also 8% of the RDA for calcium. A look at the ingredints list reveals that they do use sorbitol which is a sugar alcohol and natural sweetener.
Skinny Cow definitely didn't let me down with this one. I hope the price will go down a bit in the near future, but I'll continue to buy these bars to satisfy my ice cream fix. Try these for a healthy chocolate swap!

i was wondering on the actually size of these...they look and sound super good
Amanda: They are about the size of a normal ice cream bar and by the way..heaven on a stick!! They are not that high here (South Arkansas). Not quite $4.00 a box. The first time I tasted them I didn't care what they cost after that. Especially when all of the stores kept running out and I had to go a few weeks without them.
