Healthy Choice Sweet Asian Pot Stickers

Healthy Choice Potstickers

Healthy Choice says this is a "delectable vegetarian dish served on a healthy bed of whole-grain rice and covered with a sweet Asian-style sauce." I think every comment I've read online about this sums up my feelings too. Let me start by saying I loved this meal. The sauce is sweet, the Potstickers are delectable and then the spice hits. As Yum Yucky put it, "these should be nicknamed Spicy Potstickers." It is spicayyy! But unlike YumYucky, I loved this. I have bought it quite a few times, and don't mind the spice - although Healthy Chice really should warn peple and put an accurate description on the product packaging.

Each Healthy Choice Sweet Asian Pot Stickers meal provides 380 calories from 4.5 grams of total fat (8% of the daily value), 1 gram of saturated fat, 25% f the DV for sodium (600 mg), 8 grams of protein and 75 grams of total carbohydrates including 6 grams of fiber and 19 grams of sugars. This is als0 7 Weight Watchers Points (more nutrition facts at the Healthy Choice website).

Healthy Choice meals go on sale all the time, and I snagged this meal for $2.00. I think I like them better than the Lean Cuisine Asian-Style Pot Stickers, although they are 2 different flavors despite the similar names (Lean Cuisine is nowhere near as spicy). I really liked this meal, and as I've mentioned, I've bought it a few times - but I don't think I could have this more than once every 2 weeks or so.

Watch out now! It's the Great Sweet Asian Potstickers Debate!
I think it's "cool" that you liked them....or do I mean "hot & spicy"?? LOL

This looks delicious.

Oooh, vegetarian! The Lean Cuisine ones are out for me due to the chicken, but I definitely will be trying these!

They are actually vegan as well!

Tried these, delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to see tofu in the potstickers.
I didn't think they were very spicy at all, however, and I've got a fairly Midwestern palate, technically. Somewhat, at least.

These will definitely be a staple in my freezer. Too bad they are a bit high in cals and carbs. That is probably my only complaint.
I did augment this with extra veggies, as I do with nearly all frozen meals, so I can't count lacking veggies as a complaint, really.
