Wishbone Asian Silk Salad Spritzers

Wishbone Asian Silk Salad SpritzersBeing a true lover of salad, I have tried MANY salad dressings that I can pare with my veggie creations. When I saw Wishbones Asian Silk Salad Spritzers, I was captivated. Just the name of the flavor, Asian Silk, was enough to hook me, but the novelty of a salad "spritzer" captured my attention ... and my cash, so that I could try it.

Each spritz has roughly 1 calorie, and the label reflects stats for the "average serving", which is 10 spritzes which provides 10 calories, 0.5 grams of total fat, 4% of the daily value for sodium (100 mg) and 2 grams of carbohydrates which includes 1 gram of sugar. That seemed reasonable enough so I spritzed away. Each spritz covered a few bites nicely, and I was able to enjoy a rather large dinner salad with 10 spritzes. The flavor was basically that of a vinaigrette dressing, with a hint of ginger that made it distinctly Asian themed. I even branched out and used this on steamed veggies, which was also amazing.

Wishbone Salad Spritzers routinely sells for $2.99 at my local grocer, but I got it for a real steal as it was on sale for 2/$4.00, and I had a $1.00 off coupon from the Sunday paper. Perfect on all counts! This is now a somewhat of a stable in our fridge, as my significant other has routinely come to steal it. And that says an awful lot about the product!

I love Wishbone Salad Spritzers however I tend to use more than the recommended 10 sprays because I won't eat salad (or any vegetables) unless it has a nice coating of dressing. The only flavor I don't like is the Ranch - to me it has a metallic after taste.

I JUST bought this in the Honey Mustard Flavor and LOVE it!

I've tried Wishbone's salad spritzers before. I like convenient they are. Perfect to keep at the workplace.

I like Wishbone's regular dressings, but abhor the thought of -paying extra for it to be packaged in a little spray bottle.

Good to know these are good. I see them all the time on all sale, but was afraid to try.
