Weight Watchers Smart Ones Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Mint Chocolate Chip SundaeI usually eat ice cream by itself without any embellishment to savor the ice cream for its own merits, but I also don't like keeping a hodgepodge of barely used ice cream toppings in my small kitchen. Since Mint Chocolate Chip is one of my favorite flavors, I decided to try the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae.

Each Sundae has a swirly dollop of mint ice cream on a bed of chocolate cookie crumbs with fudge and mini chocolate chips on top. The ice cream was nice and creamy, and I liked the combination of the ice cream and the toppings. The cookie crumbs were kind of bland and didn't really mesh with the ice cream well. I would have preferred having a whole cookie as the base rather than the crumbs, but it was still a tasty dessert for the most part.

One Weight Watchers Smart Ones Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae provides 150 calories and 3 grams of fat, 1.5 of which are saturated, 5 mg cholesterol, 130 milligrams of sodium (5% of the daily value) and 4 grams of protein. Each sundae also has 28 grams of carbohydrates, including 1 gram of dietary fiber and 16 grams of sugar. Each ne is also 3 Weight Watchers Points.

A box of two sundaes cost $2.25 at Kroger. This will certainly satisfy a need for sweet, without packing on the calories - and with only 2 in a box, you can only indulge so much. At 2.45 ounces each, these small sundaes pack just the right amount of cold sweetness to pique the taste buds while still maintaining a healthy portion size. Also, be sure to check out the review of the Mocha Fudge variety.

The chocolate peanut butter cup is awesome. I am a huge fan of the w.w. desserts. basically becuase of low calories and portion control

OMG! I just tried this sundae, I loved it! So yummy! Couldn't believe it was diet food. It was small though, so I had to eat it in small bites (which was hard for me because I have a HUGE sweet tooth!)
