Crystal Light White Tea Blueberry On the Go Packets

Crystal Light On the Go packetsEver on a quest to drink more water, I'm always eager to try new flavors of Crystal Light and related 'flavored' water beverages. When I saw Crystal Light On the Go packets offered in a White Tea Blueberry flavor, I was quite intrigued, after all, blueberries and white tea are both touted as providing great health benefits, and the giant "ANTIOXIDANT" written across the top of the package is certainly appealing. The box of 10 packets cost about $3.99 at the grocery store, so I decided to give it a shot.

One of the nice things about Crystal Light is that each 2-serving packet provides only 10 calories total (5 calories per serving). You can add the powder to any amount of water, depending on how much flavor suits you. Excited to try the new flavor, I emptied the packet into a 16.9-ounce bottle of water. The first thing I noticed was the color of the resulting beverage was a sort of a dirty yellowish, none too appetizing. This was the first hint that this wasn't going to be as good as I thought.

Unfortunately, this was possibly the worst thing I've ever had to drink. I could only drink one sip, it was so bad. The flavor was overwhelmingly sweet and artificial tasting, and I wasn't even sure I could pinpoint the taste of either the blueberry or the white tea at all. Then again, I was trying to get the taste out of my mouth as quickly as I could! I poured the rest of the water down the drain, threw away the box, and poured myself a glass of regular water to clear the taste.

This is not worth it even with just 5 calories. While I realize that this product may appeal to some tastes, I warn you to try it with caution!

Ehh...I don't care for this flavor all that much, but it's edible at least in my opinion. I agree that it's super sweet and artificial flavored however, and adding the packet to 16 oz like they call for makes it waaay to strong.

Pauvre fille! I am also a Crystal Light girlie...but this flavor sounds weird.

It depresses me that Arizona's version is more expensive. I think it tastes better.

Totally agreed on the blah review. The only "tea" from Crystal Light that seems palatable is the Peach Mango Green Tea.

Bummer for you'll this is my fav. Though I do dump it into a big bottle of Figi water because I don't like that much artificial sweetner in my system. And a little does go a long way.

This is my favortie crystal light on the go but I realize that it may not appeal to all tastes. I like sweet and this curbs my sweet tooth craving.

I mix this with a full liter, which is perfect for taste.. not too sweet... just a light fruit taste. Too bad someone wastes their money down the drain when all they need is a little innovation. Too SWEET?.. Dilute it!

how can I get bluebery tea flavored tea in my area? noone seems to offer it in Yakima Wa?I like the lite colored teas best, and they keep disappearing from grocery shelves

This was actually my favorite flavor. I can't stand the overly red stuff they only seem to carry now (along with two versions of lemonade.) Oh well, I guess I was in the minority.
