Pure Protein S'Mores Bar

At the rate I'm going, I'll have sampled all of the nutrition bars in the drugstore in no time! I like switching up my pre-workout snack, and it's fun to taste-test the different flavors and textures these bars have to offer. One of the things I look for is high protein content with relatively few calories and Pure Protein Bar fits the bill.
I've tried the Peanut Marshmallow Eclipse, Chocolate Deluxe, Chewy Chocolate Chip, and S'mores which was definitely my favorite. It wasn't as interesting as some of the other nutrition bars I've had - it lacked the crunchy whole grain cereal in Kashi GoLean Crunchy! Bars, for example - but the flavor was pleasing, not too sweet and not too artificial. My favorite part was the marshmallow cream layer on the top of the bar which had a melt-in-your-mouth quality, but the entire thing had a chewy texture and flavorful chocolate coating.
At 50 grams per bar, Pure Protein Bars is one of the smaller protein-packed snacks, but it manages to squeeze in a full 19 grams of the stuff! All that for only 180 calories, 5 grams of fat (8% of the daily value), 3.5 grams of saturated fats (17% of the DV), 130 mg of sodium (5% of the DV) and 20 grams of carbohydrates which includes only 2 grams of sugars, but 12 grams of sugar alcohols, plus an abundance of vitamins and minerals.
I didn't notice any side effects from the sugar alcohols, but people's reaction to sugar alcohols vary greatly. This snack fueled me through my training session; a little bit of fiber might have sustained me longer afterward and I would still love to find a high fiber bar with much less saturated fat. These bars were on sale for $1.25 each and while I wouldn't buy this regularly because of the fat, I would certainly indulge from time to time.

I love this bar. I honestly like the marshmallow one the best, but this is a close second.
Have you tried the Fiber One Fulfill bars? I love them, very yummy. :)
