South Beach Living Fiber Fit Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

South Beach Living Fiber Fit Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies come in pre-portioned 100 calorie snack packs, and while I am not a big fan of this snack size (who says snack are supposed to be 100 calories?), I was impressed that they managed to pack 20% of the daily recommendations of fiber into each serving, so I was excited to try it.
When I opened the pack and emptied the contents onto a plate, 6 cookies fell out. They were 6 deliciously sweet and chocolatey cookies, but certainly not enough for a snack by itself. The name says "double chocolate" but it didn't taste any extra chocolatey to me. I also didn't really experience any chocolate chunks - but then again, these were just a little bit bigger than a quarter, and not very thick, so it's hard to distinguish any ingredients. A good use for this, might be coupled with tea (may I suggest Celestial Seasonings Original Indian Spice TeaHouse Chai), or crumbled over some low fat yogurt like Dannon Light n Fit 0% Plus Strawberry Yogurt, and since you wouldn't need more than 2 or 3, it would certainly make this pack last longer.
Each 24 gram pack of South Beach Living Fiber Fit Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies provides 100 calories, 5 grams of total fat including 1.5 grams of saturated fat (both are 8% of the daily value), no trans fat, 4% of the daily value for sodium (85 mg), 1 gram of protein and 17 grams of carbohydrates which includes 20% of the DV for fiber (5 grams) and 5 grams of sugars. There is also 2 grams of sugar alcohols.
The 5.1-ounce box contains 6 individual packs and they are often on sale for about $2.50 or less. Don't think this alone will satisfy your hunger, but by using it creatively and paired with other low calorie products, you can definitely come up with a filling snack. If you have a sweet tooth, then put these in your pantry.

Fiber: it's what's for everything.
How are these on ingredients? More chemistry than cookie?
I am snacker and I thought the cookies were delicious. I eat breakfast, but often want something midmorning. So a cup of hot tea and the cookies are good. The hot tea makes the fiber swell and I feel full until lunch at 1pm. It makes a nice late evening snack. The key is drink at least 8 ounces of fuild with the cookies.
I love the south beach cookies but now i am having trouble finding them. Isn't that the way.
I used to get them at my local Vons, until about 2 weeks ago. I asked the guy who orders/stocks the cookies and he said they had never carried them. Well, I bought them there, so that's not true! My husband looked for them at a different Vons where he used to find them, he got the same run-around.
I am also having trouble finding them. For about 2 months now I have looked in every grocery store I can think of and they are no where to be found.
Same as Peggy. I can't find them anywhere. I contacted Kraft twice & they claim they have not been discontinued and should be widely available but none of the grocery chains have had them for months.

Went into Vons today near my work, and they have an area cleared, with SB fiber fit double chocolate crunch on the tag under it, and a $3.99 sale price, but no cookies. I guess someone beat me to them.
I got hooked on these cookies and so did my body...where are they? I bought them for months and now for the last 2 months I can't find them ANYWHERE!! I've been to Giant, Redners, Acme, Wal-mart& Weis Market...No Cookies...Just empty shelf space where they were. What's up with these cookies?
I live in Niantic, CT., where can I get these cookies. I used to buy them in Stop & Shop and Target, but they don't carry them anymore.

Ditto what everybody else said. I found them at 99 cent store and Big Lots in southern Calif. Now that I am addicted, I have spent more time and gas money driving to every Big Lots within 50 miles (I drive a lot for my job.) HELP! Have they been discontinued? I would even be willing to send away for them but they are not on website.
I cannot find these cookies anywhere, either. I used to buy them at Kroger and at HEB. I have looked in 5 different stores including Walmart. Every time I find healthy, tasty food it disappears from the shelves!!!

I fell in love with them too....I checked King Kullen, Stop and Shop and Waldbaums in my area where they used to be available and no one has them! Can't even find them online!
