So Delicious Passionate Mango Coconut Milk Yogurt Alternative

As soon as I saw the Passionate Mango flavor of So Delicious Coconut Milk 'Yogurt Alternative', I was all over it. Since I'm from the islands, I am intrigued by all things tropical, plus I like bold flavors. The passionate mango 'yogurt' has a bright vibrant yellow color, which immediately makes you aware that this is going to be a bold flavor. And, oh yes, it was.
This flavor is quite tart as the passion fruit comes through more than the mango - but the mango is still omnipresent as an undertone. I happen to love tart flavors, so this yogurt was right up my alley 
. I put it to the ultimate test and gave it to a picky 9 year old. The bright yellow color didn't scare him off, but he was very skeptical when he read that it was "coconut milk." Nonetheless, he is a good sport and agreed to try it, and he really liked it - although he too commented on the tartness. It's also not as thick as most yogurts - in fact, it reminded me a little bit of a yogurt smoothie. I loved this and am all too happy to have discovered a dairy free, soy free, gluten free and vegan yogurt alternative.
Each 6 ounce container of So Delicious Passionate Mango Coconut Milk has 130 calories, 7 grams of total fat which is 11% of the daily value, 6 grams of saturated fat which is 30% of the DV, no trans fat or cholesterol, 1 gram of protein and 19 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 2 grams of fiber (8% of the DV) and 16 grams of sugar. Additionally, it provides 30% of daily recommendations for vitamin B12 and calcium.
The fat comes from medium chain fatty acids, which coconut milk has in abundance. This seems to be the next big thing in weight loss as some studies have shown that this can aid in the process of excess calorie burning and weight loss. Still, I don't like to have too much fat in my diet, so I might not be reaching for this when I'm trying to cut down on calories and fat.
Each 6 ounce container retails for about $0.50-$0.89 each, but this was sent to me by Turtle Mountain. Because of the calories and the fat, I will be using this more in making smoothies and shakes, where I can use just a little at a time and sill enjoy the delicious flavor. Embrace the coconut milk because it has been put to good use by So Delicious.

That does sound do delicious. I need to get some yogurt cultures into my diet to stay healthy. This should solve the usual problems i get with other regular yogurts as well. Thanks.

Mimi, this isn't a soy yogurt instead it's made with cultured coconut milk,and it only has one gram of protein.
I'm dying to try this but when i've found this at the grocery it was almost $2.50 for one container! There is no way! too too much.

I am curious as to where you find this yogurt for $.50-$.89 each? I can't find them any cheaper than $1.99/6oz container. I would love to find it cheaper, it could actually be a staple instead of a treat.
