Kashi GoLean Crunchy Chocolate Pretzel Bar

Kashi GOLEAN Crunchy Chocolate Pretzel BarWhen I'm craving a satisfying nutrition bar, I often turn to Kashi GLean Crunchy! Bars because they're bigger than other nutrition bars (or at least they seem like it) and they pack an enjoyable chocolate-dipped crunch. I've tried many of the flavors, including Chocolate Almond, Chocolate Caramel, and Chocolate Peanut (I like the almond and peanut flavors much better than the caramel one), so when I saw the Chocolate Pretzel variety offered at my gym, I had to buy the bright pink-packaged treat. It cost a whopping $2.99, but bear in mind that this reflects a significant gym markup - I've purchased the Crunchy! Bars elsewhere (at the drugstore and at convenience stores) for around $1.75.

I unwrapped the 45 gram bar and examined it to see what I was in for. The crunchy whole grain cereal blend was studded with delicious bits of pretzel, and the bottom was dipped in a generous amount of chocolate. When I bit into it, I found that the taste was pretty amazing, with a fabulous crunchy texture contrasted with the smooth, sweet taste of chocolate. So delicious Yummy

I never would have guessed that the whole bar had only 160 calories. The Crunchy! bar also provides 3 grams of total fat (5% of the daily value), 2.5 grams of saturated fat (13% of the DV), 250 mg of sodium (10% of the DV), 11 grams of protein and 28 grams of carbohydrates which includes 13 grams of sugar and 5 grams of fiber (20% of the daily RDA). There os also 10-25% of many vitamins and minerals.

I highly recommend this bar for anyone who enjoys crunchy, pretzel-y, chocolatey deliciousness! The bar is big enough that you can keep snacking at it throughout the day and low calorie enough that you don't have to feel any guilt about the chocolate.

I have never tried that flavor and they can be quite expensive, but those bars are soooo good! They taste like a real treat.

That actually sounds really yummy, and I don't usually turn to bars as I find a true meal more satisfying.

Ive tried one of these bars last week, and they are SO YUMMY! OMG! I couldn't resist and I bought 2 more individual ones, I might have one tomorrow!
