Jolly Time 100 Calorie Healthy Pop Popcorn Minis

Jolly Time Healthy Pop Popcorn MinisLet me just get this out there: I love popcorn. I love it so much that an ex-boyfriend bought me my own popcorn popper for Christmas one year. It's the perfect snacking food for when I'm studying, and it's even considered a whole grain. Its healthy profile is dependent on choosing a low-fat, not overly-buttered kind, though, which is why I love Jolly Time 100 Calorie Healthy Pop Popcorn Minis.

I have both a sweet tooth and a salty tooth, so my favorite incarnation of this popped goodness is the Kettle Corn flavor, however, the Butter flavor is delicious as well. Each bag pops up to a satisfying 4 cups, all for just 100 calories. With only 2 grams of fat, this is something you can indulge in guilt-free, and the 3 grams of protein and 8-9 grams of fiber (a full 1/3rd of the daily recommendations) make this a certifiably healthy option. Sodium is also kept in check, with only 210-280 mg (9-12% of RDA depending on flavor) per bag.

I bought a box with 4 mini bags for $2.99 at a local drug-store. If you're like me and you have a taste for sweet and salty combined, I highly recommend spraying the butter flavor with a little bit of Pam and sprinkling it with cinnamon and sugar (Splenda if you don't want more added calories) for a tasty treat!

So, does it actually have a buttery flavor, or is it mostly naked popcorn?

It definitely has a buttery flavor, so you can eat it without anything added too!

Oh, how I wish these (and pretty much everything else featured on this blog LMAO... it all looks delicious) were available in Canada! All we have are Orville Red.'s SmartPop... which isn't great. I miss Kettle Corn!

I have these and like them both plan and with some chili powder. The cinnamon and sugar sounds amazing though, I like me my cinnamon!

Sarah, you can order them on Amazon - do they deliver up there?

I really enjoyed this popcorn. I thought that it was good as is, I didn't have to add anything to it.
