Hansen's Tangerine Diet Green Tea Soda
After reading the review of Hansen's Natural Green Tea Pomegranate Soda about an all natural green tea soda, I knew I had to try one for myself. I found Hansen's Diet Green Tea Soda at Target for around $4.00 for a 4 pack and I decided on the Tangerine flavor.
Having slightly high hopes for this drink, I was left VERY disappointed. Not only did this 'diet' version taste bad, it also had a terrible aftertaste. The taste was so off putting that I didn't even finish half of the 16 ounce can. The tangerine flavor was wrong, there was no sweetness and the soda was more bitter than tart.
Each 8 ounce serving has no calories, carbs, fat, protein ... or taste. The ingredients are filtered carbonated water, natural flavors with extracts of Florida tangerines, citric acid, sucralose, Chinese green tea extract and acesulfame K. I'm still trying to figure out which ingredient is responsible for the horrendous taste.
I definitely won't be trying this again - and it was so bad that I'm not inspired to try the other varieties.
