Dreyer's LoadeD Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream

Dreyers LoadeD Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice CreamFinding lower calorie ice creams in the supermarket aisles can be quite daunting. There are the Slow and Double Churned ice creams that we absolutely adore, but let me introduce you to Dreyer's LoadeD. Flavors like Butterfinger, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and Chocolate Fudge, which is the one I tried, may not sound like it's anything other than loaded with sugar and fat - but a quick glance at the nutrition facts show that it's similar to the churned, low fat ice creams.

This delectable frozen chocolate treat is packed full of chocolate fudge swirls and fudgy chocolate brownie chunks. Yes, I used the word chocolate 3 times in the prior sentence! Each bite is a rich and creamy delight! The fudgy chunks are noticeable and taste like someone diced up some fresh baked brownies and mixed them into the chocolaty creation! Furthermore, the fudge swirls add even more pizzazz!

Each 1/2 cup serving of Dreyer's LoadeD Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream provides 120 calories, 4 grams of total fat (6% of the recommended daily amount), 1.5 gram of saturated fat (8% of the RDA), 3 grams of protein and 19 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 1 gram of fiber and 13 grams of sugar.

The ingredient list is fairly long and I noticed the sugar alcohol, sorbitol in it. However, I guess that is to be expected when you find a triple chocolaty product with low nutritionals!

I paid $3.79 for this carton of ice cream and have already bought it twice! If, and only if, you like chocolate, should you rush out and buy this ice cream (and some cones!). It will definitely satisfy any chocolate craving! The other versions of this ice cream do not provide quite as eye-catching nutritionals, but they are worth a try.

That much chocolate? I am so down.

Well the good thing about Eddy's (dryers) is that they're alwaaays on sale somewhere!
I'm just asuming that the two products are the same. If they aren't then scratch my comment.
I found that this stuff was really fake tasting and very airy. That being said, everyone's taste buds are differnt. My sister loves this stuff. She's a chocoholic and this is one of her faves.

I love this flavor and the other ones too!

Yes Edy's and Dreyer's are the same, just depends on where you live.
