Almondina Choconut Almond Cookies

Almondina Choconut Slmond CookiesThe packaging of Almondina says their Almondina Choconut Almond Cookies are "the delicious cookies without the guilt." For those of you who like lots of sweet crunching without a lot of calories (chocolate or not!) - listen up! I have seen Almodina cookies many, many times before, but continuously passed them by thinking that "I didn't need to waste my money on yet another supposedly great tasting, low calorie cookie". Boy was I wrong! Almodina Choconut is far, far from a waste of money - or calories.

Each thin and incredibly crispy Almondina is thick enough to hold a cornucopia of almond chunks and chewy raisins that mix it up in the delightfully crunchy mouth feel. Furthermore, they are not overly sweet. As a matter of fact, they are simply a decadent chocolate flavor, which will subdue even the strongest cravings. Like their website says, "Delicious. Crunchy. All-natural. Indulge!"

Each all natural, cholesterol free serving of 4 Almondina Choconut Almond Cookies (30 grams) provides only 133 calories, 3.6 grams of total fat (6% of the RDA) with only 0.5 grams of saturated fat (3% of the RDA), 12 mg of sodium (1% of the RDA), 1 gram of fiber (5% of the RDA), 9.5 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein. This is the incredible ingredient list: Almonds, Flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), Sugar, Egg Whites, Raisins, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Powder and Natural Flavors.

I shelled out $3 for 3 servings of Almondina Choconut, and it is also available online. I think the Almondina Family Recipe deserves a big round of applause for creating a delicious, all natural, nutritious and satisfying cookie with a generous serving! What more could you want?!

Not as big of a fan of crunching but Choconut (chocolate and coconut) sounds good. Maybe I could dip then in hot chocolate. Yummy.

these cookies are completely addictive and the best I've ever had! I would recommend them to everyone to try!

They have the regular ones at TJ's. I'll try them out next time
