Swiss Miss Diet Hot Cocoa

Swiss Miss Diet Hot CocoaAlthough I consider myself to be a pretty healthy eater on most days, I definitely find myself craving something sweet on occasion. Like most women, when chocolate calls to me, nothing else will do! Therefore, I've tried to reign it in with something satisfying, sweet, long lasting, but waist friendly. Swiss Miss Diet Hot Coca Mix does the trick for those late night cravings! With only 25 calories per serving, it is chocolaty, creamy and indulgent. An added bonus: since it is a hot beverage, it takes time to sip, so by the time I am finished, my chocolate craving has been satisfied.

Each envelope of Swiss Miss Diet Hot Cocoa makes a hot steeping cup that also provides 2 grams of protein and only 4 grams of total carbohydrates. The sweeteners used are Splenda and acesulfame K. While not as rich as non-diet hot cocoa, it is a wonderful substitution for those counting calories. In order to amp up the nutrition, I sometimes add it to 8 ounces of skim milk instead of hot water. This increases the calorie count, but it is a satisfying treat that will leave you quiet satiated.

Although diet hot cocoa is pricey compared to regular hot cocoa, I found this product quite reasonably priced at Target at $1.77 for an 8 count package. This mix is perfect for chocolate emergencies when you're watching you're weight

I love this stuff! When the chocolate craving is extra intense, it's great to have this with a chocolate vita-top.

I sometimes drink this for dessert instead of having a full on chocolate fest. lol I only use water with it, but sometimes I top it with mini marshmallows and a few sprinkles of crushed graham crackers. It's like a hot liquid s'mores. Yummmyyy :D

I wish I liked this stuff, but to me, it doesn't even taste like chocolate. I actually like the sugar-free kind they make, though, which is 50 calories.

I've tried the no sugar added store brand, too, and it's pretty good. It really is the perfect cool weather treat that you can't feel guilty about. :)

I prefer the sugar-free kind as well; it's only 35 calories more, richer, and much cheaper. I can also find it in bulk at Sam's club.

Cuddling with a warm cup of cocoa and watching the snow fall nothing quite like it

Amen FishingMom - add a good book to that combination and I'm in heaven.

Miracles from Swiss Miss, husband has melanoma Cancer, Brain Tumors and would love to see you'll make his Christmas. He is a fighter, 2003 was given 8 weeks to live and now he is fighting hard again. Please help.

Thanks

I really like this - just wish I had bought more of it when I was down in the states! They don't sell it up in Canada *sob*
