Lean Cuisine Chicken and Vegetables
The sauce tasted okay, but there was too much of it for my taste. I also felt like there was way too much Parmesan cheese and a lot of it stuck to my fork making it hard to clean afterward. The taste of the entree overall was good although not really memorable. One package of Lean Cuisine Chicken and Vegetables provides 240 calories and 5 grams of total fat, 2 grams of which are saturated - that's 8% and 10% of the recommended daily amount. There are 30 milligrams cholesterol (10% of the RDA), 640 milligrams sodium (27% of the RDA), 20 grams protein and 29 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of which is fiber (12% of the RDA) and 5 grams of sugars. There is also 30% of the RDA for vitamin A and 15% for calcium. The amount of sodium is a bit high, but since I didn't consume all the sauce, I don't think I took in the whole amount of sodium. I paid $2.20 for this entree at Kroger when it was on sale, but there really isn't anything in the taste or nutritional value that makes this meal stand ou. Still, if everything was extraordinary, extraordinary would become mediocre. I'm not jumping to buy this one again, but it may make an appearance in my grocery shopping cart at some point in the future.
