Barbara's Bakery Peanut Butter Puffins Cereal
One serving of Peanut Butter Puffins (¾ cup) contains a reasonable 110 calories, 2 grams of total fat and 0.5 grams of saturated fat (both of which are 2% of the RDA), no trans fat or cholesterol, 230 mg of sodium (10% of the RDA), 2 grams of fiber (8% of the RDA), only 6 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein. The ingredient list is short and sweet, consisting of only Corn Meal, Dehydrated Cane Juice, Natural Peanut Butter (Ground Peanuts, Salt), Oat Flour, Rice Flour, Sea Salt, Vitamin E, and Baking Soda. I would probably eat this cereal everyday if it weren't so low in fiber as I prefer to fill up on high fiber carbohydrates in the morning. Still, the other stats are very impressive and the cereal is perfectly sweet despite being low in sugar. Like many all-natural cereals, it does not contain extra added vitamins and minerals. I purchased this cereal for about $4 at my grocery store, and it was so worth it. The all-natural ingredients cause it to cost more than others, but it's not too steep a price to pay and I would highly recommend this cereal to my fellow peanut butter lovers as a breakfast or a healthy snack on the run. It is a great way to satisfy those peanut butter cravings without downing an entire jar of your favorite salty and sweet treat.

Eva said: $4 is way too expensive for cereal. Trader Joe's has a wide variety of selection from Nature's Path, with ingredients and nutritional values equally as good, if not better~ :)

Jenny said: This is such amazing cereal. Due to the low fiber content, I eat it as a snack with dried fruit and nuts, as opposed to the basis of a meal. They've been on sale at my grocery store 2 boxes for $5! I got both cinnamon and peanut butter.

MaryAnne said: The cinnamon version has way more fiber and uses that as a selling point on the front of the box. FYI: It's much cheaper at Trader Joe's. I think I paid $2.99 or something regular price.
