Reader Favorites: What is Your Favorite Brand of Oatmeal
Here's a chance to WIN FREE STUFF. The oatmeal section in our archives is sadly lacking, so tell us: What is Your Favorite Brand of Oatmeal?
UPDATE: Congratulations to Starlina!!!
Just for answering the question in the comments, 1 person will be randomly selected to receive, courtesy of Quaker, a sports bag filled with some fun (but practical) items for activity-filled family days (i.e., soccer ball, tennis balls, sports socks, fun shoelaces, water bottle, etc.), along with a few boxes of our Quaker Chewy Granola Bars with Protein!

Quaker Instant Oatmeal Lower Sugar! =)
Quaker Simple Harvest - any flavor.
I just purchased the Quaker Lower Sugar Maple&Brown Sugar oatmeal at Target. I figured it was better than regular oatmeal because it had less sugar. It really fills you up and it tastes great. I like this oatmeal or Kashi GoLean Vanilla. I'm def an oatmeal person, though.
Quaker Simple Harvest Vanilla, Almond and Honey is simply delicious and no other prepackaged oatmeal tastes like it. Wholesome, creamy and yummy! However all of the Simple Harvest varieties are worthy of my bowl!
I like the quacker weight control, banana bread flavor. It might be all in my head but it really does fill me up more then the regular stuff. I add a tablespoon of sugar free jam for a little more sweetness and I'm good to go for the whole morning.
I like to get plain oats from the bulk bins at a local grocery store (no brand). I tried the Quaker weight control at work when I forgot breakfast, and it was tasty and filling.
I love the Optimum Power variety of Nature's Path Instant Hot Oatmeal. So yummy (and healthy)!
Any flavor kashi makes! Although I'm also a fan of the quaker weight control varities.
Quaker Weight Control-
Easy, quick, and super filling
I like the low sugar apples and cinnamon instant oatmeal. But I am looking everywhere for the quaker raisin, nut, date instant oatmeal. It must be amazing!
My favorite by far is homemade!!! I by the old-fashioned oats, and add my own mix-ins! I love that I can change it up every day, and use whatever I have on hand.
For instant oatmeal, Emily got it right: Quaker Simple Harvest Vanilla, Almond and Honey.
Definitely the Regular Flavor Quaker Oatmeal. I add some Fiber One cereal and Sugar Free Maple Syrup and I have a satisfying breakfast that will keep me filled.
My all-time favorite is definitely the regular quaker oatmeal. Mix that up with some mashed up banana and cut up apple pieces...and you have some banging oatmeal.
Quaker Weight Control in Banana Bread.. or on a chilly day -- Maple Brown Sugar! Delicious and healthy (without tasting too healthy hehe). Thanks!
Favorite ever is straight-up Quaker Oats in the canister. New favorite is Kashi Heart-to-Heart instant oatmeal. It's delicious!
I have 2 favorites that I switch between- Trader Joe's Cranberry oatmeal and Quaker Lower Suger Apple and Cinnamon to which I sometimes add a handful of dark chocolate chips.
Come on people, try *REAL* oatmeal: McCann's Steel-cut Irish Oats. If you are one of those who believe you don't have time, cook it overnight in the crockpot with dried fruit.
Any flavor of Kasji Heart-to-Heart Oatmeal- so good!!!
I like to buy the Quaker Bakery Favorites variety pack, and my favorite flavor of the bunch is banana bread!
My favorite oatmeal is Good Old fashioned Quaker Rolled oats. (Not the instant)
Quaker Old Fashioned Oatmeal or Quaker Steel Cut Oats
Quakers old fashion, mixed with pure vanilla extract, dried berries, brown sugar, and a dollop of greek yogurt on top....can you say delish!!!!!!!!
Definitely Quaker Old-Fashioned oats mixed with pumpkin, cinnamon and sugar. Absolutely delicious and filling...great for a late-night snack in the winter!
i love regular quaker instant oats. there is nothing better than coming up with your own flavor concoctions. there are so many endless possibilities! cinnamon and banana, strawberries and yogurt, protein powder and cocoa, cinnamon and raisens, a splash of sugar free vanilla syrup. *sigh* LOVE oatmeal!
Old fashioned Quaker Oats :)
I love the regular quaker because there is so many options that you can add in like berries, nuts, maple syrup, mmm. I also love the honey and nut one. It's so tasty!
Coach's oats :)
Quaker Simple Harvest-Apples w/ Cinnamon
Instant Oatmeal - Quaker Raisins, Dates, and Walnuts - actually has some "stick-with-you" potential.
Non-instant - Steel cut oats (McCanns) - they're really easy to stick in a crockpot with some milk, raisins/craisins, and cinnamon! Yummmm....

Quaker Old Fashioned Oatmeal is the ONLY way to go.
We don't have to have packets of processed oatmeal. You, yes you, can eat it the old fashioned way.
Here's How:
To make your own 'flavors', add fresh berries, low-fat yogurt, peanut butter, cinnamon, sugar-free smuckers jelly, raw nuts, or just a few packets of splenda if you can't eat your oats bare.
There is bound to be something that will tickle your taste buds' fancy.
TIP: You can put single portions in a zip lock if you're on the go.
I have to say my favourite brand is good old fashioned Quaker Instant regular... I jazz it up with brown sugar and cocoa powder though ;-)
I looooove Quakers Old Fashion Oatmeal. I slowly boil it with whole fat milk to make it creamier and then I add cinnamon, cloves, allspice and honey to make it taste like my mother use to make it. I eat oatmeal 5 days a week.
Absolute favorite? McCann's Steel Cut Oats. Yum! =)
My favorite instant oatmeal is probably Trader Joe's with added protein, jazzed up with some dried fruit
Trader Joe's frozen oatmeal....160 calories, it's a frozen block that cooks up to a big bowl of oats, slightly sweetened.
I'm not really all that picky, but I like steel cut oatmeal. Or anything with maple and brown sugar!
quaker old fashioned rolled oats (the plain kind)
I also like to buy plain oats (old fashioned and quick)from the bulk bins section and add in my own flavorings and healthy fruits/nuts.
Nature's Path Optimum Zen Hot Oatmeal.
quaker cinnamon and spice!
I like Quaker Apples and Cinnamon. Yum.
Quaker's original flavor.
My favorita taste wise is maple and brown sugar or cinnamon roll- quaker.
However, the old fashinoned oats are much healthier w/o all that sugar. I like to add fresh or dried fruit, or canned pumpkin and a little brown sugar. sometimes i make it with milk. that is also delicious. I love oatmeal!
Quaker Simple Harvest in the vanilla almond or pecan flavor!
Several years ago, Quaker made an instant oatmeal in French Toast flavor and that was my all time favorite. My current favorite is Bob's Mill Thick Cut Oats.
I confess - I love the unhealthy peaches & cream stuff the best. I hardly ever buy it, but when I do, I eat like 3 packages for breakfast every day until it's gone!
My favorites are the Kashi Heart to Heart flavors. They don't have that "pasty" texture that so many of the other instant's do!
