Weight Watchers Smart Ones Fruit Inspirations Cranberry Turkey Medallions
As I mentioned on Food-Notes.com, the actual product looked somewhat similar to image on the box, except that I couldn't see the vegetables. Despite the sweet cranberry sauce, I still thought this frozen dinner was bland. The flavor from the potato and stuffing/ bread is almost non existent. There are only a few pieces of turkey and the rest of the meal is just mush. The vegetables also blend right in with everything else - except for the pieces of carrots, which were firm and delicious. If it wasn't for the cranberry sauce, this meal would be a total write off. It also wasn't very filling, so be prepared to have add a side of vegetables or dessert (healthy of course). Each serving is 7 Weight Watchers Points and has 350 calories, 4.5 grams of total fat, 1 gram of saturated fat (7% and 5% of the recommended daily value), 9% of the RDA for cholesterol (25 mg), 23% of the RDA for sodium (560 mg), 18 grams of protein and 59 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 23 grams of sugar and 4 grams of fiber (16% of the RDA). I purchased Weight Watchers Smart Ones Fruit Inspirations Cranberry Turkey Medallions for $3.00, but WW is on sale regularly (and coupons can be found in our Coupons Section). Nutritionally, this is great and although it is bland I would probably purchase this meal again and eat it for lunch on occasion. Other "Fruit Infusions" meals we have reviewed include the Orange Sesame Chicken and Pineapple Beef Teriyaki, which is my favorite one to date. Comments
