Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla is a folded tortilla filled with grilled 'white meat' chicken, a three-cheese blend, peppers and onions folded into a crispy flour tortilla. I tried the Fiesta Quesadilla and thought it was bland (read the review), so I didn't have high hopes for these, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The Chicken & Cheese quesadilla actually had more flavor than the Fiesta version. It's cheesy with plenty of chicken chunks, but there is no way to get full from just eating 1.
A box comes with 2 quesadillas, and each one provides 220 calories, 7 grams of total fat and 4 grams of saturated fat (11% and 20% of the recommended daily amount), 7% of the RDA for cholesterol, 26% of the RDA for sodium (620 mg), 12 grams of protein and 26 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 1 grams of sugar and 20% of the RDA for fiber (5 grams).
I purchased a box with 2 for $2.92. The price was right and this would make a great lunch for kids. I still prefer to make my own quesadillas piled high with fresh vegetables.
