Weight Watchers Smart Ones Calzone Italiano
I followed the directions exactly, and the result was a piping hot calzone. The taste was superb! The crust was perfectly soft, slightly crispy and definitely not soggy from being microwaved. The calzone is filled with thick, cheesy tomato sauce - the cheese would sometimes string out just like on a pizza. The inside is complete with Italian sausage (made from pork). I savored every bite mostly because it was hot, but also because this is not very big and I didn't want to eat another one at the same time. This made a very satisfying lunch but I was hungry again in an hour and a half. A box of 2 Weight Watchers Smart Ones Calzones cost $2.92. Each one provides 290 calories, 6 grams of total fat, 2 grams of saturated fat (both are 10% of the RDA), 620 mg of sodium (26% of the RDA), 14 grams of protein and 47 grams of total carbohydrate which includes 6 grams of sugar and fiber (23% of the RDA). HeatEatReview.com rated this 3 out of 5 stars. I was totally in love with this and it's 5 stars all the way for me. The only thing traditional calzones have over this is that they are 3 times the size - and 10x the calories! Comments
