Weight Watchers Amaretto Cheesecake Nonfat Yogurt

Weight Watchers Amaretto Cheesecake YogurtOne of my chief complaints with yogurt used to be that I saw the same flavors all the time - berry, raspberry, berry berry, vanilla ... But it looks like Weight Watchersflipped the script and came out with a variety of more exotic yogurt flavors, like White Chocolate Raspberry, Boston Creampie, Cherry Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie and more (see all the flavors at their website). I spotted the Amaretto Cheesecake in the grocery store and quickly scooped it up. Weight Watchers says, this has "the creamy richness of cheesecake with a subtle hint of amaretto."

According to WiseGeek.com, amaretto is an Italian liquor flavored with parts of fruits that imbue the liquor with an almond flavoring. The word amaretto means "somewhat bitter." I give kudos to Weight Watchers for trying to be different, but there was no trace of amaretto in this - not even a hint as they put it. There was however a rich sweetness and cheesecake essence. While this won't replace any of Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes (can anything top that?), the flavor is there and it delivered.

One 6 ounce container provides 100 calories, 0.5 grams of total fat , no saturated or trans fat, 6 grams of protein and 17 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 12 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber (12% of the RDA). It's also only 1 Weight Watchers Point.

I liked this, and at only $0.50 for the 6 ounce cup, I would definitely buy it again. I also noticed that the packs with only 4 were slightly more expensive that if I bought 4 individual containers for some strange reason.

I LOVE this flavor! My favorite of the bunch. I just wish it had less sugar overall rathar than artificial sweeterners in it.

I really like this flavor, and like the review mentioned it's nice to see something other than the conventional fruit flavors.
