Diet Lipton Peach Papaya White Tea
It did not disappoint. There is an obvious peach flavor which goes well with the slight tartness that's also present. I loved the light, refreshing taste, and since this has no calories, it's perfect when you want a drink with a little flavor instead of plain water. One thing I love about the Lipton beverages is the fact that they put the amount of antioxidants right there on the label - after all, that's one of the reasons why we drink white and green tea drinks. One 8 ounce serving of Diet Lipton Peach Papaya White Tea contributes 74 mg of flavonoid antioxidants. The sweeteners used are aspartame and acesulfame K, and I'm not sure how much caffeine is in this (a look at the amount of caffeine in Pepsi products shows that Lipton Diet Tea with Peach has 20 mg per 8 ounces so it probably won't be more than that). One 20 ounce bottle costs $1.29 and is one of those beverages that's nice to have around to cut out a few calories. For me, it's that go to drink after dinner - water is just too bland and I need something with a little flavah. * Side Note: Lipton has a really cool YouTube Video contest going on at Comments

Jo said: If sodium is an issue for you, check the label on this. The Diet Lipton Green Tea with Citrus was very tasty, I agree, but I stopped drinking it when someone pointed out the high sodium content on the label. |
