Roberts American Gourmet Tings
Robert's American Gourmet Tings are similar to crunchy Cheetos - but better. The benefits of Tings over that other snack, is that the cheesy flavor is more mellow and authentic and the crunchy sticks don't turn your fingers orange. There is also a big difference in the ingredients between the two. Tings is made from cornmeal with rice, sunflower/ corn oil, nutritional yeast and salt, while Cheetos has ... too many ingredients to list.

A 1 ounce serving of Robert's American Gourmet Tings has 160 calories and 8 grams of total fat (12% of the RDA), 1 gram of saturated fat (5% of the RDA), a low 4% of the RDA for sodium (85 mg) and 17 grams of total carbohydrates (no fiber or sugar).
The nutrition facts are not very different from crunchy Cheetos which has 160 calories and 10 grams of fat, but the difference in the ingredients and great taste makes this worth the price, which is about $2.50 for a 6 ounce bag. Baked Cheetos has 30 less calories, but the ingredients are the same as the regular version (read the review).

Tings are verrry addictive! Try the Pirate's Swords too. They're pretty tasty.
These tings are flavored with yeast. Of course, Robert's also makes Pirate's Booty and Smart Puffs, which do have cheese.
Tings were the best thing that ever happened to me when I was vegan!
