Kashi TLC Peanut Peanut Butter Chewy Granola Bars
Kashi doubled up on "peanut" in the name, but somehow that did not translate to the actual product, because the peanut butter taste is very light. The texture took some getting used to - it's not exactly chewy, not exactly crunchy - but after a few bites, the combination of crunchy peanuts, crispy puffed rice and whole grain blend is quite pleasant. One 35 gram bar has 140 calories, 5 grams of total fat and 0.5 grams of saturated fat (8% and 3% of the RDA), a low 4% of the RDA for sodium (90 mg), 7 grams of protein and 19 grams of total carbohydrates which includes a nice 14% of the RDA for fiber (4 grams) and a low 5 grams of sugar. The ingredient list is simple and straightforward starting with the famous Kashi seven whole grains & sesame blend. I bought a box with 6 Kashi Peanut Peanut Butter TLC Granola Bars for $2.99 which is a very reasonable price, and the nutrition facts are pretty good, but I am still not 100% sure about whether I would buy these again because I wasn't enamored with the taste and mouthfeel. After one bite I am thoroughly enjoying it and then after the next bite, I am just not sure. Please share your thoughts if you have tried these! Comments

Amanda said: I love these! They are a great pick-me-up or small snack. The fact that there are REAL peanuts in the bar make it even more appealing.

I tried these when they first came out. I agree, the mouthfeel was a little off and I didn't find the taste to be worth it. The other flavors are better (Honey Almond Flax is great!).
