Simply Grapefruit Juice
Simply Grapefruit is produced by the Simply Orange Juice Company - (which is now owned by Coca Cola). This is one of my favorite line of juices because their products are 100% natural, pure juice - no added sugar, water or preservatives. You don't have to look to see if the "grapefruit" juice is actually more apple and pear (like Minute Maid Enhanced Pomegranate Blueberry Juice which actually has more apple and grape juices). And of course, Simply Grapefruit is simply delicious (you knew that pun was coming didn't you). This pulp-free version is tart, like grapefruit juice should be. The rich pink and red colors of grapefruit are due to the presence of the anti-oxidant, lycopene (same nutrient found in tomatoes) and helps contribute to the high antioxidant activity of grapefruit juice (one of the highest among juices). Lycopene is also being studied closely because it seems to have a beneficial effect in fighting prostate cancer. More on this can be found at WHFoods. One 8 ounce serving of Simply Grapefruit is 90 calories, 18 grams of sugar and 90% of the daily value for vitamin C. Florida's Natural Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice is also all natural but has 20 grams of sugar (read our review). One 59 ounce (1.75 L) bottle retails for $3.89 and it's well worth it. If you choose to buy juices, then give this brand a try in support for being as natural as possible. Comments

Kevin said: I love this line of juices. I have had the Simply Orange and Simply Apple. Both are great tasting and good for me. I have never had Grapefruit..not a fan of it. But I would recommend trying all of them.

I gave up drinking juice in solidarity with my mother, who was cutting sugars, a while ago, but recently I've been craving a slightly sweet beverage and most are out of the question (I avoid HFCS and artificial sweeteners like the plague). Perhaps I'll look into this line of juices.
