Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken Flatbread Melts

Lean Cuisine Flatbread MeltsWhen I saw the new Flatbread Melts from Lean Cuisine, I picked up every variety that I could get my hands on. This Pesto Chicken is described as having, "grilled white meat chicken, sun dried tomatoes, red peppers, cheese and creamy pesto sauce in a soft flatbread." It actually seemed to me to be very similar in taste to the Chicken Ranch Club Flatbread Melt (read the review), which was the first one that I tried. That's not a bad thing at all, since they both taste great. In every bite, you will get some chicken and some of that creamy pesto sauce and of course, the thick, soft flat bread is just delicious - even microwaved. I gave up Taco Belll Chicken Chalupas a long time ago, but that bread is one of the things I loved about it - and here it is again - in a less fatty, less caloirc but still tasty form.

Each Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken Flatbread Melts has 330 calories, 8 grams of total fat and 3 grams of saturated fat (11 and 14% of the RDA), no trans fat, 7% of the RDA for cholesterol, 25% of the RDA for sodium, 22 grams of protein and 43 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 6 grams of sugar and 5 grams of fiber (21% of the RDA). These are 7 Weight Watchers Points.

I purchased a box for $2.92. If you want to convince your friends that not all frozen foods taste bad, then this is the meal to use as an example.

I am kind of obsessed with these new flatbread melts from the geniouses at L.C. WIth every bite of the soft luciousness of the flatbread you will truly be in carb lovers heaven, without the guilt! My fave. variety at the moment is the Pesto Chicken, but I am still dying to try the Chophouse Steak. Make sure to monitor your microwave time because it is easy to kind of chewify the flatbread by nuking it a few seconds too long. Wait until the cheese is melted, then dig in!

Either the stores by me and selling out of these too quick or they have yet to stock them! I've been looking to find them!

I wish that lean cuisine would use more WHOLE GRAINS in their foods! It would be such a pleasant surprise to see this with a whole grain bread!
