Question of the Day: Midnight Snacks
Great question posed by sportegur1 on the forum: There are those times, perhaps after a day with intense workout or when one is stressed out or just can't sleep for some reason, when a late night snack is needed. What do you guys do?
There are already some great ideas in the forum topic, but we would love to hear your favorite 'healthier or diet' snack ideas for a late night treat. Mine are, Tea, cereal, a nice big apple and a cucumber - soak slices in salt water - delish and very low cal.

Definitely cups of tea fit the bill. Occassionally I'll pick out pickled gerkins (kind of - Polish Ororki) and scoff those...
Bowls of cereal are common too (want to be healthy!)...
high-fiber cereal with soy milk, granola bars, banana with some peanut butter. I eat right before bed or else I wake up at 4am with hunger pangs.
woot....proud to be the starter of this great convo!
a bowl of Kashi, yogurt and fruit, oatmeal or a plain waffle topped with fruit. I have to have apprx. 200 calories just before I go to bed, otherwise I wake up at 3-4 am starving!
I love trail mixes . . . a quality nut mix with fresh dried fruit settles me in for the night.
