Nabisco Triscuit Thin Crisps
This review was done by Emily Wolter. Emily is a senior in high school who loves scouring the supermarket and trying out new foods. "I live in Texas which makes it even more of a challenge to eat healthy because I am constantly surrounded by fried fast food, but I like a challenge." Emily plans to attend college and major in Food Science & Technology or Dietetics. "I am extremely interested in food and its affects on the body."
Usually, I am reluctant to try many crunchy snacks because they contain partially hydrogenated oil (which is just code for trans fat). Therefore, I end up buying organic or health products at a slightly higher price. Well, Nabisco has found out how to make a stunning product at a great price! Not only is there no partially hydrogenated oil, but the ingredient list contains a mere four ingredients: whole wheat, soybean oil, salt, and monoglycerides. Furthermore, I paid about $2.50 for this 8.5oz box and feel that it was worth every penny! One serving of Nabisco Triscuit Thin Crisps is 15 crackers (30 grams) and contains 130 calories, 5 grams of total fat (8% of the recommended daily amount), 1 gram of saturated fat, 14% of the daily recommended amount of fiber and no sugar. Beware, there are 8 servings per box and if you are not careful, you will have eaten through half the box before you realize it! (They are just that good!) Comments
