Lean Cuisine Chicken Ranch Club Flatbread Melt

Lean Cuisine Flatbread MeltsLean Cuisine has really emerged to be the leader in frozen foods battlefield. I think that they consistently produce tasty, flavorful frozen meals, with so many varieties that everyone is almost guaranteed to find something they like [I have converted many an unsuspecting "all frozen dinners taste horrible" coworkers into Lean Cuisine Southwest-Style Chicken Panini lovers]. Lean Cuisine, being the innovators that they are, have decided to up the stakes even further, with a new line called Lean Cuisine Flatbreads.

I practically salivated when I saw this in the store. It looks so yummy on the box and I really couldn't wait to dig into one for lunch. The microwave time is 4 mins 45 seconds, and for once I followed the directions exactly which resulted in a steaming hot and ready to be eaten sandwich. yummy. Soft flat bread oozing with chicken and cheese sprinkled with small pieces of green onions, tomatoes and bacon. Delish! Flavorful and mouth watering. It was gone too soon, but it was filling as well because this held me until dinner.

Each Lean Cuisine Chicken Ranch Club Flatbread Melts has 330 calories, 9 grams of total fat and 3.5 grams of saturated fat (14 and 16% of the RDA), no trans fat, 8% of the RDA for cholesterol, 26% of the RDA for sodium, 21 grams of protein and 41 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 4 grams of sugar and fiber. These are 7 Weight Watchers Points.

The nutrition facts could use some improvement in reducing the sodium and it could stand to be a little lower in fat too. I purchased one box for $2.92, and overall, I would still say that it was worth every penny - worhty of a repeat purchase.

I saw these too but I have not tried them yet! Can't wait!!

How was the consistency of the chicken? Microwaved chicken tends to be rubbery if it isn't browned first. Of course if it is covered in gooey ranch sauce with a chewy flatbread might cover that.

Also, thank you for the kind e-mail!

i've never had a lean cuisine sandwich or flat bread that was actually good.

I LOVE THIS! This is probably one of my new favorite lunch items.
