DJ has opened up his refrigerator for the "What's in Your Fridge" contest. DJ says, "I live alone and usually suffer from over-buying, but I almost can't help it! Hopefully I will be able to use up everything you see here, though...except for the tofu spread...it is already a casualty, may it rest in peace."

* Tribe organic hot pepper hummus
* Candle Cafe (a local vegan joint) cranberry and scallion tofu spread: expires today, and it's not finished yet! Sad :(
* Half & Half
* Veganaise (hidden behind the Half & Half) - Total impulse buy from about a month ago, and I still haven't opened it! Every time I want to make a salad I decide it has too many calories for the use I want to put it to. So why did I buy it?! I'm still figuring that out.
* Buffalo sausage - defrosting for dinner tonight.
* Pellegrino
* Original Almond Breeze almond milk
* Nancy's Organic cultured low-fat cottage cheese
* Yogurt stash (Wildwood Soyogurt, Cascade lemon cow's milk yogurt, plain water buffalo and plain sheep's milk yogurt)
* Vegan "cheeses" - Sheese smoked cheddar & FYH mozzarella
* Trader Joe's plain tofu
* Yves Canadian "imitation bacon"
* Field Roast brand grain meat and I LOVE it!
* Organic hearts of romaine, organic broccoli slaw, shirataki noodles, microwave spinach
* Drawers: Fruits and veggies - organic apples & pears, navel oranges, organic celery hearts, radish sprouts, cucumber and organic green bell peppers
In the Door
* Hansen's Diet Soda: Ginger Ale & Black Cherry varieties (one day I will give up diet soda...but not yet!)
* Tonic water
* Aloe Life papaya-flavored aloe juice: I mix this into my water
* Nuts - vanilla dusted pumpkin seeds, organic walnuts: the vanilla pumpkin seeds are delicious
* Condiments - soy sauce, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, Annie's low-fat Honey Mustard dressing, orange marmalade, nutritional yeast "Parma" topping.
For a bachelor, DJ sure knows how to get around a supermarket (he didn't say if he was single - what a glaring omission)!

Where did you buy the buffalo sausage? I've never seen anything like that here! I'd love to try that!
