Betty Crocker Warm Mini Delights Molten Chocolate Cake
I suppose shopping in my chef's uniform is not the way to go when buying ready-to-eat processed foods. But as someone who practices portion control by weighing everything, I was very intrigued that I might be able to satisfy my sweet tooth and occasional craving for chocolate cake - and be forced to stop after 150 calories, because each little Betty Crocker Warm Mini Delights Molten Chocolate Cake is 150 calories.
Chocolate cake is simple enough to make at home (my dad questioned my buying this when we spent so much time and money on a professional culinary school), but can a pre-made, portion controlled cake taste alright? Well, I must hand it to Madam Crocker, this cake is goo-oo-ood. Super moist, maybe even too moist to be considered a cake, and for a chocoholic like me, this is the holy grail. Sadly, its TEENY TINY. Mini? Yeah, its mini even for a baby.
The small size of the Betty Crocker Warm Mini Delights Molten Chocolate Cake is maybe why each cake is only 150 calories, 4 grams of total fat (6% of the RDA), 1 gram of saturated fat (4% of the RDA), 0.5 grams of trans fat, 8% of the RDA for sodium, 2 grams of protein and 26 grams of carbohydrates which includes 1 gram of fiber (4% of the RDA), and 15 grams of sugar.
So all in all, Betty C. made us a good old fashioned cake and cut it up in small portions. Even Marvo from The Impulsive Buy liked these. For this we get to pay $2.49 for a pack of two. It's no health food and its got your standard weird ingredients in there - not to mention trans fat, so even though I liked the taste, I probably won't be buying this again.

id rather just heat up a cliff z bar "brownie" flavor in the microwave for 10 seconds
so good, and MUCH cheaper than these ridiculous things, that are even around 2.50 at savealot
I'm sure these Betty Crocker Mini Molten Thingys are just great for someone who likes to put Hydrogenated Oils into their body but a Trans Fat is a Trans Fat and even though these are small and would satisfy the sweet tooth, to me they are a Bad thing. People can find sweets without the white flour and hydrogenated oils Just takes a little label reading time.
how do u make them?
Check out this extremely tasty and non-hydrogenated version!!

anyone know what the nutrition is for a mini warm delight with out the chocolate or whatever other sauce it comes with? I don't really like sauces so i don't ussually put any on the cake and was wondering if it reduces the fat in it or anything since they give u so much for such a tiny cake.
