Total Cranberry Crunch Cereal with Omega 3

Total Cranberry Crunch Cereal with Omega 3Total has never been on my list of cereals to buy because although their Raisin Bran cereal has a boatload of fiber, the taste was barely edible and definitely not pleasing to my taste buds. But all that has totally changed with Total's new Cranberry Crunch Cereal with Omega 3. Total says their Cranberry Crunch cereal has "lightly sweetened whole wheat flakes, crunchy clusters of oats, and real chewy cranberries" and I agree wholeheartedly.

There are sweet clusters of oats and cranberries in every bite, and it seems that this fruity sweetness is infused in the flakes although they still retain the essential whole wheat flavor. The cereal is crunchy enough so that it takes a long time before it gets too soggy in the milk, but it's not "work your jaw until it gets tired" crunchy (I'm looking at you Kashi GoLean Crunch).

One serving of Total Cranberry Crunch Cereal is 1.25 cups and has 190 calories, 2% of the RDA for total fat (1.5 grams), no saturated fat, 11% of the RDA for sodium (280 mg), 4 grams of protein and 44 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 16 grams of sugar and 18% of the RDA for fiber (4 grams). One serving also contains 100% of the daily recommended amount for 11 vitamins and minerals, including calcium and vitamin E (that's definitely a bonus), as well as omega-3 fatty acids from flax.

I'm not sure why there is so much sodium in this cereal, but I forgive them, since they included so many other healthy components. One 15 ounce box of cereal cost $3.89, which is not inexpensive, but I enjoyed it and would buy it again - it's Totally awesome.

Sounds delicious!! I love Post Cranberry Almond Crunch, but the nutritional info doesn't fit my bill. I'll have to try this one!

Wow, 100% of your calcium needs?!

I love this - my store recently had a sale on it, and I bought quite a bit. It's perfect for this time of year, too.

can you bake bread from Total Cranberry Crunch?

I LOVE this cereal, but in the last few months have not been able to find it at any Colorado Springs grocery stores. Will I have to drive to Denver?! Can I buy it somehow on line?

Did anyone read the label on this? I don't think so.

Sugar, Corn Syrup, brown sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, honey, brown sugar molasses, and brown sugar syrup are all listed in the ingredients. Some are listed more than once.

Yea! The first ingredient is whole grain wheat, but ONLY 4 GRAMS of DIETARY FIRER and only a trace fo Soluble Fieber. 16 g of sugar and 24g "other" carbs. And the serving size is 1 1/4 cups. Who are they trying to fool?

I got a free sample and a coupon online... but I can't find it in any of my local grocery stores! Yikes!!! I'm in NC and I tried Bi-lo and Food Lion... Tried the super walmart too. NOTHING. I am so upset... it really is as tasty as the reviewer said. Sigh...

I found a recipe for total ceral with cranberries and white chocklate but I lost it. Can you please send it to me. I found it in some magizne.

LOOKING FOR THE COOKIE RECIPE I FOUND IN A MAG. BUT LOST IT. CAN YOU HELP ME.iI LOVE THOSE COOKIES.
