Kashi All Natural Chicken Pasta Pomodoro

Kashi Chicken Pasta PomodoroKashi has a line of "All Natural" frozen entrees which combine ingredients like whole grains, vegetables and natural chicken or shrimp. I love the natural concept applied to frozen dinners, but the price of the Kashi meals tend to be close to $5.00 which is almost 2x the price of similar products. Plus you could probably buy a whole chicken for that amount of money! But as luck would have it - these meals go on sale occasionally, and I quickly snapped some up when I had a chance, including the Kashi Chicken Pasta Pomodoro. This consists of "chicken and roasted vegetables over whole grain pasta and topped with fresh tomato garlic basil sauce, parmesan cheese and Kashi 7 Whole Grain Flakes."

This is one of my favorite Kashi meals. The chicken and pasta were very flavorful - that sauce is "smack your lips good" and not too garlicy (like the Kashi Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza). I scraped out the sauce/ veggie sauce even after everything else was gone, but that was because it was good - not because I was left unsatisfied or hungry. This was money well spent.

A Kashi Chicken Pasta Pomodoro meal has 280 calories, 6 grams of total fat (9% of the RDA) which includes 8% of the daily requirement of saturated fat (6 grams), no trans fat, 20% of the RDA for sodium (470 mg), 19 grams of protein and 38 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 5 grams of sugars and 6 grams of fiber which is 24% of the RDA.

Tasty and nutritious. If you can catch this on sale or if $5 isn't too much for you, then give the Kashi Chicken Pasta Pomodoro a try. Other Kashi entrees that I really enjoyed are the Black Bean Mango Entree and the Sweet and Sour Chicken.

That looks good! I will have to give it a try sometime.
Maybe you can help me out with something…? I want to order all of my food online from now on because of various reasons, but I don’t know where to go for quality food. I have tried 2 companies so far, Fresh Dining, and and Celebrity Foods, but I wanna get others I can try out. Do you know of any? The main thing I’ve ordered so far is steak. I guess you can say, I’m a steak junkie. LOL!!! From what I have found out (from what I have ordered so far) I think I am able to regulate the quality of beef I buy. I hate going to a store and getting that crappy slab of beef that I have to cut down until there is like nothing left. Hahaha!!!! (its so true though) Anyhow, sorry that I made this comment so long. If you can help me out or point me in a direction where I might find more quality foods online, I would greatly appreciate it. Have a good day or night! (depending on when you read this) LOL!!!!
