Karen said: I would love to eat more organic food and I generally do, whenever I can. I live in a small town though, so selection is REALLY limited. It's the same problem that I have with the 100 mile diet. I would love to do it, if I lived in Florida or California I probably would. But I'm sick of smug people who are from those places talking about it. I refuse to spend 8 months of winter eating from a sack of rotting potatoes or carrots.

david said: I do grab organic from time to time, but for most part I just grab the cheapest--not the most environmentally friendly. That's probably not what I should be doing, but it's what I am.

Allison said: i get a large amount of seasonal organic produce from a local CoOp every 2 weeks. the difference in quality and taste is so great, that I've changed my grocery shopping habits and the cost doesnt really matter; the cost of my health & tastebuds is worth it.

Alex said: I buy it, but not for seeking it out, because it's become prolific. I've noticed that a lot of things marked as organic in the large supermarkets aren't exactly. The meats generally still have lots of additives after butchering.

James said: Still have to read labels very carefully. We are more into our CSA, local farmers market, and growing our own than we are getting organic food from the grocery store. |

I try to buy organic food when I see it at the grocery store but I typically don't actively go out and look for organic alternatives.
